Our manufacturing process is done to ensure quality and great taste. Bottled water products labeled as spring water must come from protected sources, which are monitored frequently. Our bottled spring water is protected by a multi-barrier approach. This approach consists of protection and monitoring at the source, as well as, treatment at our facility which includes, Micron Filtration, UV Sterilization and Ozonation.
Spring water is transported from the natural spring by sanitized stainless steel tankers to our facility. The spring source regularly monitors and tests for organic and inorganic chemicals that meet and exceed the regulations set forth by the FDA & EPA.
The first stage of micron filtration uses the largest filter (50 microns) to remove sediment and suspended particles from the raw spring water that has been delivered by the stainless steel tanker.
The second stage of micron filtration employs a smaller filter (1 micron) to remove even smaller particles.
The third stage of micron filtration utilizes the smallest filter (0.2 micron) to remove the smallest particles and bacteria.
Spring water is held in food grade stainless steel storage tanks temporarily before continuing through the process and being bottled.
Used to remove any chemical and microbiological contaminants, including cryptosporidium. Cryptosporidium is a parasite that is sometimes found in surface water. Unlike surface water, spring water originates well below the earth’s surface. Therefore, the parasite is not likely to be found in spring water but we still take these extra measures to guarantee we are producing a safe product.
We use ozone instead of chlorine because it leaves no residual and it does not cause a taste and odor problem. Ozone is oxygen (O3) which is bubbled through the water just before it goes into a clean, sanitized bottle. Within a few hours after the bottle has been filled and capped, the ozone dissipates or converts back to the same form of oxygen that we breathe (O2). The ozone injection is used as another extra measure to remove contaminants and to ensure quality.
The bottles are automatically rinsed, filled with spring water and capped, then dated, labeled and packaged by our state-of-the-art equipment.
Final product water is tested by an outside laboratory regularly to verify that we meet and exceed all federal and state regulations.
